Foods That Will Help Improve the Health of Your Skin

Did you know that you could eat your way to great skin? That’s right: there are lots of foods that contain vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients that nourish your skin and make it healthier. These include:

Tomato and olive oil

Tomatoes contain an antioxidant called lycopene, while olive oil has an antioxidant named polyphenols. Combine these two together in pastas and other recipes and you’ll have enough antioxidants that can combat the free radicals in your skin.

Seafood

Certain types of fish (like tuna, sardines, snapper, halibut, salmon, and cod) as well as oysters, crab, and shrimp contain selenium, a mineral that helps protect your skin from free radicals and slow down the onset of aging.

Walnuts

These nuts contain significant amounts of omega-3 fatty acids, which help your skin lock in moisture and keep dry, scaly, and flaky skin away.

These are just some of the foods that can help you have great skin. Aside from eating them, you need to use the Lotus by Dr K Facial Cleansing Brush, which is a more affordable Clarisonic. This brush can gently and effectively remove dirt, bacteria, makeup, and excess oil and keep your pores unclogged. It can also reduce acne scars and make your skin smooth and radiant.

TESTIMONIALS

This facial brush and cleanser are amazing. My face never looks better than when I use them. Also.... they are gentle enough to use around the eyes, but still get everything off!
